The Luella High School Bands

 

Comprised of over 100 students in grades nine through twelve, the students of Luella Bands strive for excellence on the stage, in the classroom, and on the field. Not only are the talented students gifted in music, but members of this prized organization are also committed to high levels of achievement in AP courses, dual enrollment endeavors, and other fine arts activities. The overall band program consists of a Wind Symphnony, which performs music from the GMEA grade V and VI lists, a Symphonic band, which performs music at grade level IV. In addition to these ensembles, there are also chamber groups, a jazz band, a percussion ensemble, and more. 

 

The Luella High School Marching Band boasts over 80 students who volunteer for this extra-curricular ensemble, putting in long hours during the summer to ensure that the Lion's Pride continues to grow from year to year.
